Walt type a recount On a hot sunny Thursday we took a bus to waitangi to see what all the nga tangata were preparing for. First we stopped at the roundabout by the treaty grounds and we had some lunch, then we met this man from the navy ships, He had been there for 2 or 3 days and made a promise to Kaikohe West School that “Next year he will give us all a tour of his Ship, because he is going to be a captain. “I can’t wait for next year”. After that we walked to the waka house, looking through the telescope. It told us the storyf of the landing of the waka then we walked up to the treaty house grounds. We had to hurry up because we were running out of time to go swimming. We swam down by the bridge and after we got out of the water, we all went to go and look for crabs, and we found lots. We got dressed and then we had a lolly scramble!
